Power without darkness:
Energy from the sun.

The sun gives us far more than light and warmth – it offers pioneering opportunities for energy generation and opens up new perspectives for regions, communities and landowners.

At ToRa Lausitz, we do everything we can to ensure that sustainable energy generation is not just an idea, but a reality. We offer complete project development for solar energy and photovoltaics from a single source: from finding and securing sites to financing and implementation through to commissioning. This also includes tenders, application and approval procedures as well as auction processes.

Whether photovoltaic or hybrid concepts, new plants or repowering projects, agri-, floating or peatland PV – we make solar energy possible. Our focus is on experience, expertise and open communication with all stakeholders: landowners, community representatives, local residents and environmental organizations. Together, we create solutions that meet a wide range of requirements, such as community electricity models, flexible usage and purchase models or the use of modern storage systems.

A solar development, from plan to project.

Solar energy plants –
solid benefits for landowners.

NO FINANCIAL RISK
ToRa Lausitz assumes all financial risks arising from the development of the project.

LONG-TERM SECURITY, ECONOMIC PROSPECTS
The lease agreements for solar plants offer a term of up to 30 years.

HIGH RENTAL INCOME
Landowners benefit from a fixed minimum remuneration per hectare and year. In addition, there is a variable lease that shares in the rising electricity yields. If the variable rent exceeds the annual minimum remuneration, the difference is paid out in the following year.

ENHANCES THE ENVIRONMENTAL VALUE OF AGRICULTURAL LAND
Project areas promote biodiversity among plants and animals and at the same time reduce nitrate and fertilizer pollution of the soil.

Solar plants –
an opportunity for municipalities.

NO FINANCIAL RISK
The project and planning costs are covered by urban development contracts and implementation contracts as part of the development plan.

LONG-TERM REVENUES
Municipalities generate up to 0.2 cents/kWh annual income. Example: A PV park with an output of 10 MWp* generates approx. 20,000 euros per year for the municipality.

CREATES AND SECURES JOBS IN THE REGION
Construction measures such as clearing, civil engineering, mounting the solar modules and cabling are outsourced to regional companies. Regular work such as cleaning and repairs also generate orders in the region.

STRIKING A BALANCE BETWEEN ENERGY TRANSITION, AGRICULTURAL UPGRADING AND THE INTERESTS OF THE MUNICIPALITY
The selection of suitable sub-areas, e.g. with low soil points, is carried out in close consultation between landowners, the municipality and ToRa Lausitz.
